a few years back, sean had some mad fit of inspiration and recorded this album in a couple of days. it's a brilliant, kraftwerk-y masterpiece. there were a few cd-roms of this stuff floating around for a while, but it was definitely time to give it a proper release. you may recognize a couple of the songs if you've ever seen lifestyle play. and, if not, have a listen now. i may be biased, but this is one of my favorite albums. it will make you want to have a robot dance party.

Boston's Polystar is an esoteric blend of Rock, Electronica, Folk, and Disco, with a pop sensibility. Rather than following the recent trend of many bands who try to sound JUST LIKE the 60s, 70s, or 80s bands they admire, Polystar tries to mix these influences up, making music that is "dated in three decades", while still sounding fresh and different. Songs are typically dark in nature, covering such subject matter as stalking (from the stalkers point of view), betrayal, regret, and darkness itself. They manage to explore these themes in the context of catchy pop songs. Sean T. Drinkwater produced and co-wrote Polystar's debut effort, Finished, and contributed guitar and keyboard to the recording. for the last 15 years, symbion project has been the ongoing electronic music endeavor of k*ss*n (aka the duke), releasing 3 full length albums, and numerous remixes.
